Important Information for members from Crystal Run Health Plans on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Your health is important to us. We are working with state as well as local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help make sure you have the latest news about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This includes information such as what to do so you stay healthy and when to call – or go see – your doctor/healthcare provider.

Symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) are like an upper respiratory infection, which may include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

If you have the symptoms above and have been in close contact with someone who is infected, get medical attention. If you live in, or have recently traveled from an area that has Coronavirus (COVID-19) and have symptoms, see or call your doctor or go to the emergency room. It’s best if you call first and tell them that you think you have the virus.

Are you at higher risk?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) believe that the risk of contracting the virus is currently low for most people. Those at higher risk of illness are older people and those with health conditions such as heart disease, lung disease and diabetes.

 

Testing:

Effective immediately, cost shares/copays/ deductibles do NOT apply to CORONAVIRUS testing or the related visit occurring in an office, emergency room or urgent care center.

 

Telehealth:

Crystal Run Health Plans covers telehealth (computer) visits with your provider/physician.  Cost share/copays/ and deductibles do not apply. Review your Certificate of Coverage and Schedule of Benefits for details.

Your Coverage / Payment of Premium

We understand that because of the governmental restrictions in place payment of your premium may be difficult. We are willing to work with you during this crisis if you need to delay payment.
